Uncertainty still surrounds the Bulk Power Supply Agreement between Zesco and the Copperbelt Energy Corporation after its expiry yesterday, but Energy Minister Matthew Nkhuwa assured clients, particularly mining firms, of sustained supplies.

The 27-year agreement expired last midnight, with Mr Nkhuwa warning at a Press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that any termination in power supply by CEC will be considered an act of sabotage.
