GRANT OF SHARE OPTIONS

This announcement is made by Country Garden Holdings Company Limited (the "Company") pursuant to Rule 17.06A of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities (the "Listing Rules") on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Exchange").

The board of directors (the "Board") of the Company hereby announces that on 9 May 2019, the Company has offered to grant to two executive directors of the Company (the "Grantees") a total of 750,160 share options (the "Share Options", each a "Share Option") under the share option scheme adopted by the Company on 18 May 2017 (the "Share Option Scheme") which, subject to the acceptance of the Share Options by the Grantees, will enable the Grantees, upon full exercise of all such Share Options, to subscribe for an aggregate of 750,160 new shares of HK$0.1 each (the "Share(s)") in the share capital of the Company for the subscription price per Share Option set out below (all subject to adjustments under the terms of the Share Option Scheme in accordance with Rule 17.03(13) of the Listing Rules), such Shares representing in aggregate approximately 0.0035% of the issued share capital of the Company as at the date of this announcement.

Details of the Share Options granted are set out below:

Subscription price of	Share : HK$12.4080 per Share Option, representing the higher of: (i) the
Options granted	closing price of HK$11.6800 per Share as stated in the daily
	quotations sheets issued by the Stock Exchange on the Date of
	Grant; (ii) the average closing price of HK$12.4080 per Share as
	stated in the daily quotations sheets issued by the Stock Exchange
	for the five business days immediately preceding the Date of Grant;
	and (iii) the nominal value per Share
