PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Craft Brew Alliance Inc. (BREW) on Wednesday reported a first-quarter loss of $7.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Portland, Oregon-based company said it had a loss of 38 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 19 cents per share.
The brewer that makes craft beers like Kona, Widmer Brothers and Redhook posted revenue of $49.8 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $47 million.
Craft Brew Alliance shares have risen 4% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $14.90, a decrease of 23% in the last 12 months.
