With the implementation of this code share, Croatia Airlines and Air India would be the first and only carriers from their respective countries to offer services between Croatia and India.

Croatia Airlines (OU), the flag carrier of Croatia, and Air India (AI), the flag carrier of India, have entered into a code share partnership. Both airlines are members of Star Alliance, Croatia Airlines since November 2004 and Air India since July 2014.

Under this code share arrangement, Air India would code share as a marketing carrier on Croatia Airlines operated flights on the Frankfurt-Zagreb/Dubrovnik/Split vv, London-Zagreb/Split vv, Vienna-Zagreb/Split vv, Rome-Zagreb/Dubrovnik/Split vv & Paris- Zagreb/Dubrovnik/Split vv sectors and Croatia Airlines would code share as a marketing carrier on Air India operated flights on the Frankfurt/London/Vienna/Rome/Paris-Delhi vv & London-Mumbai vv sectors.

The code share will initially be implemented on the Frankfurt-Zagreb/Dubrovnik/Split vv, London-Zagreb/Split vv, Vienna-Zagreb/Split vv sectors effective 01 April 2017. Code share on the other sectors will be implemented subsequently, subject to requisite regulatory approvals. With the implementation of this code share, Air India and Croatia Airlines would be the first and only carriers from their respective countries to offer services between India and Croatia.
