The green light has been given for automotive fun and joy this summer: As of 16 June 2019 and every following Sunday up to 8 September, the popular Cars & Coffee Classic meet will once again take place at the Mercedes Museum. The concept is as casual as it is coherent, whereby participants drive up in their classic or vintage car (with or without the Mercedes star), meet with like-minded individuals and talk about the cars on display. All visitors without classic cars are also welcome! Hot and cold drinks and snacks from the Mercedes-Benz Summer Lounge make Cars & Coffee the perfect event - and they also hit the spot on the other summer days. The Lounge is open from Tuesday to Sunday until 14 September.

Stuttgart. Seeing and being seen: classic and vintage cars of all makes are the source of excitement at the popular Cars & Coffee meets held on Sundays at the Mercedes-Benz Museum, where you can relax sipping a cup of coffee and talk about the classic cars parked right at the museum as well as discuss the subtleties of automotive culture. The only requirement for guests who bring their own classic car is that the vehicle must be at least 20 years old.

Cars & Coffee is held every Sunday from 16 June to 8 September 2019 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. New vehicles from the Mercedes-Benz Stuttgart sales and service outlet as well as cars from the museum's ALL TIME STARS (https://www.mercedes-benz.com/de/mercedes-benz/classic/all-time-stars/) vehicle trading platform are also always on display.

The Mercedes-Benz Summer Lounge likewise offers culinary delights. At the Cars & Coffee event on Sundays, for example, a Swabian, Bavarian or French breakfast with butter pretzel, white sausages or croissant is available to visitors. Every Friday from 4 p.m. at 'Grill & Chill', specialities from the smoker and live music are on tap. And on Saturdays, there are various different offers available for children up to 12 years of age, including meatballs on potato salad, carbonated water mixed with fruit juice and an ice-cream sundae for € 5.50. Cocktail fans can also enjoy happy hour Tuesdays till Sundays from 4 to 5 p.m.

An additional programme will be offered at two separate Cars & Coffee meets:

  • Sports cars on 21 July: this year, Mercedes-Benz is celebrating '125 Years of Motorsport', and fans are getting in on the action. In addition to the classic cars on display Sports cars of all makes and models - including new cars - are welcome.
  • Off-road and commercial vehicles on 1 September 2019: the Mercedes-Benz G-Class will turn 40 years old this year. This Sunday, everyone with an off-road or commercial vehicle from any model year is welcome at Cars & Coffee. The only limitation is that the vehicle's kerb weight may not exceed 12.5 tonnes to be parked on the museum hill.
