(NYSE: DVA), today announced that it has acquired Coastal Physicians Medical Group, located in Southern California. The group has been an affiliate of HealthCare Partners since 1996.

Coastal Physicians Medical Group is an independent physician group with three locations serving the South Bay area of metropolitan Los Angeles including the cities of San Pedro, Torrance and Carson. The medical group has six health care providers who have been providing high-quality care to South Bay area residents since the 1970s.
