Star by Julien Macdonald's SS19 collection presents a new fresh and highly feminine look inspired by the grace and essence of the Orient. Beautiful renditions of iconic cherry blossoms and gentle wisteria have been wistfully hand painted in watery washes of blossom pink on this season's key bedlinen print. Textiles are tactile, featuring fine and delicate sequin and organza floral embellishments, to heighten the sense of romanticism and allure. Shimmering gold, pearlescent finishes and stunning precious gem inspired accessories bring Julien's characteristic glamour and high fashion opulence to the collection. The pretty colour palette is bursting with shades of hot peony and bold cerise pink, complemented by pale blush tones and a crisp white background, bringing a refreshing sophisticated update to the home for the new season.

More is more when it comes to the MW by Matthew Williamson collection. The maximalist trend continues into SS19, becoming ever more jubilant and vibrant in this global inspired, extravagant collection. The eclectic range evokes a strong sense of nostalgia; the feeling of carefree summers represented in the rich and joyful sunset tones of coral pinks, deep yellows burnt orange and deep, inky teals and blues. Textures are rich and sumptuous embellished with jewelled designs, bold embroidered details and patchwork velvet motifs for a glamourous take on the tropical bohemian look. Dramatic yet ethereal palm tree prints, tropical pineapples and palm tree motifs are brought to life on textiles and accessories, adding a signature touch of kitsch to the decadence.

Directly inspired by Abstract Expressionism and 1950's American art scene, the J by Jasper Conran collection combines sophisticated design with a statement colour palette to present a new age, directional interpretation for SS19. The canvas is strong yet elegant; bringing together dusky pinks and golden ochre tones grounded by earthy terracotta and navy hues. Prints are dramatically big, with bold lines that cut and curve through the designs, portrayed on a juxtaposition of natural linens and tactile velvets. The look is extravagant and modernist but with an understated edge that ensures the collection is accessible for today's contemporary home.

SS19 sees Abigail Ahern join the Designers at Debenhams portfolio with her distinctive design ever present in this seasonal collection. Embracing fantastical creations and unmistakeable dark drama - which the range has become synonymous with - Abigail demonstrates her fondness for texture with new oversized textiles adorned with heavy fringing, chunky tassels and quilted finishes. Spirited creatures remain iconic to the collection, appearing in unexpected exotic forms such as the embellished snake and beaded octopus cushions, metallic insects and the enchanted Eland Antelope head beautified with a golden velvet flocked finish. The colour palette boasts saturated deep jewel tones of midnight blues, ochre and teal, whilst new sand cast accessories in brassy gold geo shapes and etched pewter surfaces add a luxe dimension to the range. Abigail's own stunning life like single stem florals perfectly complement this confident seasonal collection.

Debenhams seasonal trend Savanna is a carefully considered curation of global inspired craftsmanship, offering subtle statements that truly define the term 'bringing the outdoors in'. Calm inducing colours are earthy and natural in origin; from serene soft shell pinks through to washed terracotta hues and linen shades, enhanced with standout accents of black.

Hand-made touches and crafted details are significant. Refined West African inspired textiles and subtle monochrome mud prints originating from Mali appear on materials crafted in a way that highlights their natural beauty. Faded, relaxed fabrics and woven textiles are enhanced with tactile textures such as embroidered art, tufting and bold trims. Ceramic vases, lanterns and candle are curvy and organic in shape, each decorated with carved and hand worked details. Seasonal dining appears with an artisan feel with rustic wooden kitchen pieces, etched earthenware like crockery complemented by abstract printed and soft block colour melamine.

Debenhams much-anticipated introduction of a new Edition designer arrives in the form of a collaboration with cutting edge lighting designer Sarah Colson - the first lighting only capsule collection. Applying a commercial perspective to her signature hand-made designs, British-born Sarah has created the unique, exclusive PRISM collection consisting of four striking pendant lights and two table lamps. Inspired by natural quartz formations and gently enhanced by a soft, subtle colour palette, the geometric crystal shapes are a perfect sculptural addition to any home interior.
