INDIANAPOLIS - LandMark Implement announced it is working with FFA to award college scholarships to local members. This is the seventh year of the John Deere Scholarship program. Last year, John Deere awarded more than $230,000 in scholarships.
LandMark Implement is sponsoring five $2,000 scholarships, each through the National FFA Scholarship program to be awarded to students across the LandMark footprint across Nebraska and northern Kansas. The scholarships will provide financial aid to FFA members attending four-year colleges.
"LandMark Implement believes in agricultural education," said Landmark's recruiter, Deanna Karmazin. "FFA develops a member's potential and helps them discover their talents through hands-on experiences, which gives them the tools to achieve real-world success in the workplace. We like to hire FFA members because we know they come to the company already equipped with the tools to be successful."
