For the tenth time, the Telekom Cup will give fans the opportunity to watch some top-quality soccer during the winter or summer break. Telekom would like to invite fans to the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf on January 13, 2019. Taking part: Host Fortuna Düsseldorf, reigning champion FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hertha BSC. The Telekom Cup will thus give fans the chance to enjoy some top-quality and entertaining soccer before the second half of the Bundesliga season kicks off.
Fortuna Chairman Robert Schäfer emphasizes the tournament's importance: 'The Telekom Cup is a star-studded event. In best conditions in the arena, the teams have the chance to take stock before the second half of the season. We are looking forward to great football and a fantastic atmosphere.'
The rules will guarantee an exciting and thrilling tournament. Four matches will take place: Two semi-finals, a third/fourth place play-off, and the final. Each game lasts 45 minutes. There will be no extra time if games end in a draw. Instead, the winner will be decided on penalties alone.

Affordable tickets will be available with prices starting at 12.50 euros, premium tickets will cost 40 euros. Tickets will go on sale on November 14, 2018. All relevant information is available at www.telekomcup.de (German only).
