Yesterday, the Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) awarded certificates of merit to four DEUTZ apprentices in recognition of their excellent performance in the exams.

The apprentices, training to become skilled metal workers, production mechanics, mechatronics fitters or electronics technicians for industrial engineering, were recognised by the Cologne IHK as 'Best performers' for their very good exam results. The award honours the Company's exceptional commitment to vocational training, and the IHK also praised the very good exam results of the DEUTZ apprentices, which were again well above the chamber's average. This is the eighth year in succession that DEUTZ AG's training centre in Cologne has received this accolade from the Cologne IHK.

'We are delighted that we can once again count ourselves among the best this year. The Cologne IHK has recognised the performance of our instructors and of our apprentices, and we are immensely proud of the strong performance of the entire team,' says Dr Andreas Strecker, member of the DEUTZ Board of Management responsible for Finance, HR, Procurement and Information Services.
