Diageo : Diane Farrell named in Management Today’s 35 Women Under 35 list for 2019

'I think the biggest obstacle is self-doubt. But it's about recognising those inner voices, stopping them and turning them on their head so you just see the positives.'

Commenting on Diane's inclusion in this year's list, Pamela Scott, Global Operational Excellence Strategy and Standards Director, said:

'Diane is an inspiring young woman who leads one of Diageo's flagship malt distilleries - Talisker on the Isle of Skye. She is a strong female role model and is currently mentoring other young women and inspiring the next generation to look at exciting opportunities within the whisky industry. She has an ambitious character and I am delighted that she has been recognised by Management Today in this year's list.'

Now in its 18th year, Management Today's 35 Women Under 35 is one of the UK's longest-running, most prestigious list of young, female business talent. Diageo employees to also make the list include On Trade Sales Director for Diageo GB, Melissa Wisdom (2018) and Global Digital Director, Isabel Massey (2017).
