DOLFINES, a wholly owned subsidiary of DIETSWELL,

laureate of MARINE ENERGY ALLIANCE to develop floating wind

powered offshore hydrogen production

DIETSWELL, an independent specialist in engineering and services in the renewable and conventional energy industry, announces DOLFINES is laureate of the Marine Energy Alliance (MEA) after a two- stage application process, to further develop its floating wind powered offshore hydrogen production concept based on its proprietary floating wind platform technology called TrussFloat™.

DOLFINES will collaborate closely with MEA partners ECN, EMEC, INNOSEA and Exceedence in the technical and commercial development comprising the basic design for open sea testing prototype including permitting aspects, hydrogen export line and mooring system, levelized cost of energy optimization and business case development.

"We are proud to be laureate of the Marine Energy Alliance award as this gives us the possibility to accelerate the technical and commercial development of floating wind powered applications that allow O&G majors to secure profitable offshore production in windy regions in a carbon neutral future by giving their O&G infrastructure a second life. A part from profiting from the vast experience of the MEA partners, we are happy to see our network of partnerships within the green hydrogen community growing", concludesJean-ClaudeBourdon, CEO of DOLFINES SAS.

About Marine Energy Alliance (MEA): www.nweurope.eu/ma

The Marine Energy Alliance (MEA) is a 4-year European Territorial Cooperation project running from May 2018 to May 2022. The project has a total budget of €6 million and is financially supported by Interreg North West Europe, who provides €3.6 million of ERDF funding. The aim of MEA is to progress the technical and commercial maturity level of early-stage (TRL 3 - 4) Marine Energy technology companies with the overall goal of reducing the risk of device failure in subsequent demonstration phases. Via MEA, 40 Marine Energy technology companies receive a suite of tailored expert services that will enable them to realize their ambitions and, more broadly, contribute to the coherent growth of the Marine Energy industry in general. Through participation in MEA, companies will gain access to the project partners' world-leading expertise in Marine Energy development. They will have the chance to work closely together with a transnational team of Marine Energy experts on both the technical advancement of their technology, as well as the development of their commercial strategy and business plans. Each service offer is intended to put the company's technology and business firmly on the road towards successful commercialization.
