New York [July 16, 2019] HGTV has announced that Karen Bronzo will assume the role of Senior Vice President, Marketing, expanding her current responsibilities to include oversight of brand strategy and development of on-air/off-channel creative for the network. Bronzo, who joined HGTV in 2013 as Vice President, Ad Sales Marketing, will report directly to Jane Latman, President and will supervise marketing professionals in the company's New York City and Knoxville, Tennessee offices.

As a key member of the HGTV Ad Sales Marketing team, Bronzo led marketing and promotional efforts for the brand's popular home giveaways: HGTV Dream Home, HGTV Smart Home and HGTV Urban Oasis. In 2016, she was elevated to SVP where she worked with the network marketing team.

'Karen is a seasoned senior leader with extensive experience in media, marketing and business development,' said Latman. 'Our ongoing success depends on breakthrough content and talent and on how effectively we promote those to new audiences. From establishing brand strategy to driving ad sales partnerships and developing unique experiential marketing opportunities, Karen's deep experience leading brand teams - both from the client and agency perspective - is a huge asset for us. Her leadership on the marketing side is a big part of HGTV's growth strategy.'

Prior to joining HGTV, Karen was at LeadDog Marketing Group as the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Account Strategy. She also spent eight years at Oxygen Media, leading both the Consumer and Ad Sales Marketing teams. Early in her career, Karen gained experience in media at Turner Broadcasting International and in advertising at J. Walter Thompson and BBDO Worldwide. A graduate of Georgetown University with a B.S. in Foreign Service, Karen is a member of Women In Cable Telecommunications (WICT).
