KINGSPORT, Tenn., September 14, 2018 - Effective October 1, 2018, the Specialty Plastics Business of Eastman Chemical Company is implementing a global list and competitive price increase for all Copolyesters products, as contracts allow. These increases are due to elevated operating costs, especially in raw materials.

The amount of the increase is USD 0.09 per pound, USD 0.20 per kilogram, EUR 0.17 per kilogram, JPY 22 per kilogram, and CNY 1.37 per kilogram.
