eBay is proud to achieve another 100 percent score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index (CEI). Each year, the Corporate Equality Index analyzes and evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices of hundreds of companies, looking at nondiscrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits and public engagement.

'We're committed to building a globally inclusive workplace by supporting people of all backgrounds. It takes dedication and everyone within the eBay village to achieve this level of on-going recognition,' said Damien Hooper-Campbell, our Chief Diversity Officer.

eBay joins 1,059 major U.S. businesses that are advancing the cause of LGBTQ inclusion and LGBTQ-friendly work policies. eBay's efforts in satisfying all of CEI's criteria earned us a designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.

'These companies know that protecting their LGBTQ employees and customers from discrimination is not just the right thing to do - it is also the best business decision,' HRC President Alphonso David said. 'In addition, many of these leaders are also advocating for the LGBTQ community and equality under the law in the public square.'
