EFG International formally launches business in Cyprus

Zurich, 2 November 2015. EFG International to hold official opening of its business in Cyprus.


EFG International will this evening hold the official opening of its business in Cyprus at the Four Seasons Hotel, Limassol. This will be attended by Joachim H. Straehle, CEO, EFG International; other senior group executives; local dignitaries and members of the business community.


The Cyprus operation is a branch of EFG Bank (Luxembourg) S.A., and is based in Nicosia, with a satellite office in Limassol. The senior representative in Cyprus is Costas Stylianou. Costas spent 11 years at Alpha Bank in Cyprus, where he was Head of International Division and a member of the executive committee.


Costas Stylianou works very closely with London-based Demetris Pisiaras, who is the market coordinator for Cyprus.


The offices in Cyprus are now fully operational, and reflect EFG International's commitment to enhancing service and growing its business with international clients residing in Cyprus, international investors, as well as the Cypriot Diaspora.
