ELECOM : Popular bi-colored stereo headphones and headsets that simply and casually offer great sound

ELECOM CO., LTD. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan; President: Junji Hada) is launching, in the middle of December, a new line of in-ear type stereo headphones and headsets that reproduce great sound from a cute and colorful body.

The newly-introduced products are: in-ear type headphones, the 'EHP-CN100A series', compatible with audio devices, such as portable audio players; headsets, the 'EHP-CN100M series', compatible with smartphones with a 4-conductor mini plug. Both are simply made with a cute bi-color design.(*1)

Despite being very stylish in bi-color design, which is often used in popular brands of wallets and bags, the products are reasonably priced, making them easily affordable to a wide range of people who may also find the product as a great accessory.

In terms of sound quality, the products use diameter 9.2 mm dynamic drivers, enabling them to reproduce compact and yet balanced high-quality mid-to-high pitch sounds and well-defined bass. These new models use light and yet super-hard aluminum for the housings, shutting out excess vibration from the driver yokes and reproducing clear sound. The excellent-fitting in-ear plugs reduce sound leakage and shut out the surrounding sounds, creating the perfect noise-free environment for enjoying music. The ear caps come in four generic sizes, XS/S/M/L, so you can choose the best size to fit your ears. The in-ear type is also perfect for those who want to keep their hair from getting messed up. The cables are generously long at 1.2 m.

The headsets, 'EHP-CN100M series', can be connected to smartphones with a diameter 3.5 mm 4-conductor mini-plug, which allows you to enjoy not only music but also telephone conversations using the built-in microphone. The remote control switch with the built-in microphone allows you to pick up/end calls and play/pause music (*2, *3, *4).

The new products come in several different color combinations, such as pink with black, or orange with green, which can be chic or cute, depending on the contrast of the two colors. The headphones are available in three different bi-color combinations while the headsets are available in six.
