-- A Michigan judge ordered Enbridge Inc. to shut down its Line 5 pipelines pending a Tuesday hearing, the Detroit Free Press and Michigan Radio reported Thursday. Attorney General Dana Nessel sought a temporary restraining order, saying Enbridge "failed to provide the state with information" about damage to one of the pipelines, the Free Press reported.

-- Enbridge said it is "disappointed in the court's ruling" and said the west leg of Line 5 has been shut down. The company said inspections have determined that the west segment is safe and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration didn't object to restarting. Enbridge said it had shut down the east segment pending a review of a disturbance on one of the screw anchors.
