  Eni SpA and Maire Tecnimont SpA are partnering to potentially build a circular gas production plant in the southern Italian city of Taranto. 


  "This phase is aimed at assessing the feasibility of a plant within the Taranto refinery for the production of new synthesis gas from plasmix and dry waste through a chemical recycling process," the companies said Thursday. 


  The two Italian companies are already working together on other projects.
