Radio Mirchi Q2 Total revenue rises 11.5% at Rs. 129.6Cr
Mumbai, November 8, 2016:
Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, the operator of India's #1 FM radio channel Radio Mirchi, today declared its result for the second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company posted a growth of 11.5% in total income at Rs. 129.6 crores as compared to Rs.116.3 crores in Q2FY16. The company reported operating EBITDA of Rs 23.1 crores and PAT of Rs.7.9 crores for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Prashant Panday, Managing Director and Chief Executive Offer, ENIL, said: 'It's been a busy quarter for us! We are in the midst of many exciting launches; of core brand Mirchi in cities like Chandigarh, Guwahati and Kochi and our 2nd brand, Mirchi Love in Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur and Lucknow. We have stepped up marketing spends and early research indicates that we have made a strong start and in fact have become leaders in key markets. I am confident this will translate into a stronger business in the years ahead!'
