Croatian fixed and mobile operator Hrvatski Teleom (HT) is upgrading its wireless network infrastructure in preparation for 5G, Telecompaper reports. The upgrade work is being carried out by Ericsson Nikola Tesla (ENT) and Odasiljaci i Veze (OiV).
In July last year HT said it had conducted the country’s first test of 5G technology on an operational network in real-world conditions. The test network, operating in the 3.5GHz spectrum band, was implemented with a pre-installed 5G system, using Ericsson’s 5G network devices.
