Evolution Mining Limited ("Evolution" or the "Company") is pleased to announce $3 million in funding to be provided to Rural Aid Australia, NSW Rural Fire Service and Queensland Rural Fire Service, supporting their bushfire and drought relief and recovery efforts.

Evolution will donate $1.5 million to Queensland Rural Fire Service and NSW Rural Fire Service ($750,000 each). These volunteer-based organisations are supported by community generosity and fundraising, enabling them to provide important community services including fighting fires, fire prevention, deployment for assistance during disasters and community education programs. Evolution's donation will assist brigades to replenish equipment loss, provide vehicle maintenance and cover volunteer expenses without them having to seek donations or fundraise in communities already recovering from recent fires.

Evolution will also donate $1.5 million to Rural Aid, one of Australia's largest rural charities, well known for their highly successful 'Buy a Bale' campaign. Rural Aid provides financial assistance, fodder, water and counselling to farmers in times of drought, flood or fire. They promote "buy local" initiatives and deliver support to schools and other community groups to strengthen the sustainability of our rural communities, both during and after natural disasters. Evolution's donation will enable Rural Aid to deliver their programs in regions that have been affected by fire and drought, particularly in central west NSW, providing on-the-ground practical support to those who need it most, and continuing to support them during the lengthy recovery period.

Evolution's Executive Chairman, Jake Klein, said: "Evolution is pleased to be in a position to be able to make these donations to such worthy organisations. Many Evolution employees and our local communities have been impacted by recent natural disasters in Queensland and NSW. Some of these communities have endured one of the longest droughts in recent history, destructive floods in Queensland last year wiped out homes and livestock and the current bushfires are having a devastating impact on people, properties, wildlife and the landscape."

"Many of our Evolution colleagues already volunteer their time with local fire and emergency services and we hope our support will provide much needed resources for them and the many other volunteers helping to bring hope and assistance to affected families and communities."

Rural Aid spokesman Wayne Thomson thanked Evolution for their timely offer of assistance: "This donation will help us deliver much needed support to farmers, their families and their communities who are suffering through not only widespread drought, but now extensive bushfires. We look forward to including Evolution staff in the delivery of this support in the coming months."
