Last week, 191 deserving employees of the Upper Austrian aerospace group celebrated their anniversaries of service at the Loryhof in Wippenham. The FACC Management Board personally thanked the jubilarians for 2,560 years of loyal service to the company.
'The expertise and experience of our long-standing employees is an invaluable asset for our company,' declared Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, at the anniversary ceremony. 'As a leading technology company in the aerospace industry, FACC will continue to record strong growth and successfully expand its market position in the years to come.' In recognition of the jubilarians' effort, Machtlinger explained that this would not have been possible without the tremendous dedication and commitment of all employees and stressed the importance of their long-standing loyalty to the company. Alexander Sieber, a laboratory assistant, has celebrated his 40th anniversary of service: 'FACC has provided me with a secure job for years. What's more, it's also close to where I live. I particularly appreciate the variety in my daily work, the responsibility I am entrusted with and the opportunity to learn something new on a regular basis.' Johann Gaisbauer, team leader of the Business Jet Final Assembly group and Kaizen coordinator at Plant 2, also emphasizes the unique spirit of FACC as an employer: 'Manufacturing aircraft components that fly around the globe is truly fascinating. In my 35 years at FACC I have met many interesting people from a variety of different countries - team spirit and mutual support have allowed us to accomplish numerous goals together.'

FACC: An attractive employer with great prospects
'We do a lot for our staff - the large number of employees who have remained loyal to us over many years is the best proof of this,' enthuses Georg Horacek, Vice President Human Resources. As an employer, FACC is committed to creating an optimal environment for its employees and offering them excellent prospects for the future. After all, FACC employees bear a great deal of responsibility and are at the heart of the company's success. A wide variety of development and career opportunities for active and performance-oriented individuals, the possibility to partake in continuous training and further education programs as well as an international outlook, including opportunities for both short and long stays abroad, testify to FACC's role as an outstanding employer. 'We offer people who are willing to take initiative fascinating challenges, stimulating activities in a fast-growing company and a pleasant working environment as part of a globally active team,' says Horacek. 'Our employees are very valuable to us. That's why we provide them with a great working environment along with an optimal infrastructure and additional benefits to make them feel as comfortable as possible.' FACC expresses its gratitude for the commitment and dedication of its employees through a number of social benefits such as profit-sharing and getting a day off on their birthday.
Growth of FACC creates new jobs
FACC currently employs approximately 3,200 members of staff at its three manufacturing plants in Ried, Ort and Reichersberg. An order backlog of nearly USD 6 billion, new major projects and the increase in production rates for existing aircraft programs will allow the company to hire an additional 800 employees spread over all divisions over the next three years. 'Committed people who display initiative are very welcome to join our team,' says Georg Horacek. 'We offer more than just a job. Shaping the mobility of the future is our shared mission.'
