Board changes

fastjet (AIM:FJET), Africa's low-cost airline, today announces changes to its Board as the Company prepares for the next phase in its development.

Non-Executive Director Clive Carver will step down from the Board with immediate effect, and Non-Executive Directors Bryan Collings and Rob Burnham will not stand for re-election in 2016, retiring from the Board at the conclusion of the 2016 AGM.

The Board would like to wholeheartedly thank them for their support and wise counsel, and in particular, for Clive's contribution to the Company while acting as Interim Chairman.

To ensure an appropriate weighting of executive and non-executive directors, Chief Commercial Officer, Richard Bodin, will step down from the Board with immediate effect reducing the number of Executive Directors to three.

Richard, will, of course, continue to serve as a key member of the senior management team and the Board looks forward to his ongoing and valuable involvement in the development of the business.
