Nov. 10--Yes, you can outsource Thanksgiving.

You can have an entire frozen Thanskgiving meal FedEx'd to your door. Or you can pick up one made by a local chef. A few places let you buy just sides or the turkey if roasting one is too daunting.

Or you can skip all the work and dine out with your family at a nice local restaurant or a less-expensive chain.

Whatever you're planning, make a reservation or order food ASAP, as these places get swamped for Thanksgiving.

Here's where to go and what they're serving.

Campagnia

Campagnia Bistro will be open for the first time on Thanksgiving this year. From 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. the restaurant will serve a three-course meal ranging from $40 to $60 depending on the entree.

The full menu is online, and choices include a traditional roasted turkey dinner, a grilled red wine marinated rack of lamb and more. Each comes with an appetizer, soup or salad, and three sides.

You can also get a meal prepared by Campagnia's chef Floro Bugnosen to eat in your own home. The restaurant is once again selling Thanksgiving meals that serve six to eight people.

The complete turkey dinner with sides and serving six to eight people costs $148, and the rib roast dinner with sides costs $278. The full menu is online.

To reserve a seat or order a meal, call 559-433-3300.

Boston Market

That frozen Thanksgiving meal sent via FedEx? That's a first for Boston Market, which ships the meals with instructions on how to thaw and heat them.

You can buy the whole spread that will feed 12 people for $119.19 or smaller options, like the $84.99 meal serving four to six people. Shipping is extra: $19.99 if ordered by Nov. 13 and $39.99 for orders received by Nov. 19.

You can also pick up a meal that's not frozen from Boston Market and heat it up at home. Or if you just want a little help, you can get individual sides -- say mashed potatoes for $10.99 -- or just a turkey for $49.99.

The restaurants will also be open Thanksgiving Day serving a $12.99 meal that includes slices of turkey or half a rotisserie chicken, sides and a slice of apple pie.

Details: Order meals and sides online.

Elbow Room

The Elbow Room restaurant is also inviting people to dine in or take home a Thanksgiving meal for the family.

The restaurant is taking reservations for seatings between 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The menu includes a traditional ham or turkey meal, filet mignon, lobster, steak salad and more.

Meals cost $25.99 for adults and $14.99 for kids 12 and under.

Elbow Room is also selling a take-home feast that feeds eight people for $129.99. It includes turkey, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing and other Thanksgiving favorites.

It must be reserved by Nov. 16 and picked up between Nov. 20 and Nov. 22. To reserve a seat or order a meal, call 559-227-1234.

School House

The setting of a historic former school house can add a little something extra to a Thanksgiving meal. The School House Restaurant & Tavern is serving meals on Thanksgiving Day at its location at 1018 S. Frankwood Ave. in Sanger. The three-course meals cost $52 each and reservations are available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Thanksgiving Day menu includes entrees like a Pitman Farms turkey dinner, but also lobster carbonara, pork loin and meatloaf. Desserts range from pumpkin cheesecake to a warm persimmon cookie with pomegranate ice cream.

If you're really in the mood for Thanksgiving food, you can order sides to share (like mashed potatoes or green beans) for an extra $5.

Reservations: 559-787-3271.

Save Mart

Save Mart is selling complete Thanksgiving meals. They range from $45.99 for a ham or turkey dinner for four to eight people to $99.99 for a turkey from Sonora's Diestel ranch, with gluten-free gravy, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, also feeding four to eight.

Extras like rolls can be added on.

Order by Nov. 20 online or via the Save Mart app.

Marie Callender's

If you just need a pie or two, you can order one in advance at Marie Callender's. They have the classics like pumpkin, but also a pumpkin cream cheese, mince with rum sauce and razzleberry (raspberries and blackberries) pies.

You can also eat at the restaurant on Thanksgiving Day. Options include turkey and ham and, of course, a slice of pie.

Marie Callender's also sells take-home Thanksgiving meals. They start at $99.99 for the turkey meal that comes with seven sides and a pie. Ham is also available.

Order meals and pies online.

Whole Foods

Whole Foods also sells several holiday meals with turkey, prime rib or ham. Individual sides are also available from a crab mac 'n cheese with brie to gravy.

For vegans, Whole Foods is probably one of the few places to buy prepared Thanksgiving food. You can get a vegan meal for two that includes lentil-mushroom stuffing and "cheesy" rutabaga and potato mash. Individual dishes are also available, such as a whole roasted and mustard glazed cauliflower.

Ruth's Chris

The steakhouse in River Park is open on Thanksgiving Day from noon to 8 p.m. It will serve a three-course meal that features a turkey entree with your choice of sides and a steakhouse salad or a seafood gumbo for an appetizer.

The meal costs $39.95 for adults and $12.95 for children.

The restaurant is also selling two sides: sweet potato casserole and creamed spinach. Each serves up to 12 people and costs $29.95 apiece.

To order sides or make reservations, call 559-490-0358.
