In February, the footwear production was 7.6 million pairs, an increase of 8.3 percent compared to the previous month, and 13.8 percent higher than the same period in 2016. The footwear sales was 7.4 million pairs, a decrease of 6.6 percent compared to the previous month, and 6.8 percent higher than the same period in 2016.
As of February 28, 2017, the footwear production totaled 14.7 million pairs, higher by 3.5 percent over the same period in 2016. The footwear sales totaled 15.4 million pairs, higher by 4.1 percent over the same period in 2016.
