A special #AlfaRomeoDay at the Museum in Arese to mark the Brand's birthday

Sunday 23 June will be a day packed with events to celebrate Alfa Romeo, on the eve of the 109th anniversary of its foundation: from the talk on the Alfa forerunner, the Darraq 8/10 HP, usually in store away from public view, to the live screening of the French GP, through to the opening of two exhibitions at the Centro Stile and the on-track parade of the visitors' Alfa Romeos

A day-long party, on the eve of the 109th anniversary of the Brand's foundation. At the Museo Storico in Arese, June 23 will be the special #AlfaRomeoDay: a whole day of appointments, meetings and events that range from history to the very latest news. A party dedicated to the Brand's fans, which will begin with a parade of cars on the in-house circuit. All models, both current and historic, are eligible provided they carry the Alfa badge: participants will meet at 10 am in the Museum car park before doing a few laps of the track and assembling for a commemorative photo. The parade will be led by the Alfa Romeo 4C, Safety Car of the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).

The packed programme continues to focus on the 4C at 10.30 am, at the meeting with the Centro Stile and the inauguration of the exhibition 4C Concept / The Story, dedicated to the prototype of the compact supercar. One hour later is the 'Treasure Hunt' in the Museum's exhibition halls, open to groups of friends and families, followed at 12 noon, in the Giulia room, by a showing of historic and contemporary video films. At 2 pm there will be another in the cycle of 'Backstage' meetings, enabling enthusiasts to view and learn about pieces from the historic collection normally stored away in the deposits and not on public view. On the eve of the anniversary of the Brand's foundation, this time the talk will be about the Darraq 8/10 HP, from which the story of A.L.F.A. originated.

From history to the present: at 3:10 pm the cars will set off in the French GP, shown live in the Giulia room, which becomes a real 'Alfa Romeo stand' for the Alfa Romeo Racing team's Formula 1 event. Still on the subject of racing, 4:30 pm will see the inauguration of the Racing Line exhibition, about the livery of the Alfa Romeo Racing Formula 1 car: the development process, the logo, and the various ideas and creative solutions are illustrated on the panels prepared by the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo. For visitors wishing to learn more about the Brand's history, there will be a free guided museum visit at 4 pm. At 5:30 pm the parade of visitors' Alfa Romeo cars will bring the thrilling #AlfaRomeoDay to an end. All activities are free of charge and are included in the entrance ticket.
