CINCINNATI-Fifth Third Bank is excited to announce the launch of Chip in for Cincinnati, a program through which, for every transaction made with a Fifth Third Bengals debit card from now through Nov. 30, Fifth Third will make a donation to benefit Most Valuable Kids of Greater Cincinnati, up to $53,000.

The funds the program raises will be used to send at-risk kids to Bengals games and to support MVK's mission to inspire deserving kids in the community through opportunities to attend live sports and cultural events. Throughout the season, more than 300 people, including kids and their chaperones will attend the games as beneficiaries of Chip in for Cincinnati.

This is the first time that Fifth Third, the official bank of the Bengals, will partner with MVK. Tim Elsbrock, president of Fifth Third's Cincinnati region, said it is important to Fifth Third to foster inclusion wherever it operates. 'We strive to be of service to our community. When we act on opportunities to raise funds for good causes like MVK, we are investing in the future and creating a legacy of building strong communities to improve lives.'

Most Valuable Kids works with 119 nonprofit partner agencies in the community to provide deserving kids with event tickets and experiences that reward and motivate them to overcome significant life challenges. These opportunities, which are currently provided for a nominal membership fee, enable schools, social service agencies, foster families and mentors to have a meaningful reward for the kids they serve. Since its inception in 2005, more than 161,000 deserving kids have received tickets to live sporting events, cultural activities or other unique experiences.

'We are excited to be a recipient of the Fifth Third Chip in for Cincinnati program to bring smiles to so many kids in our community,' said Sherri Friedman, CEO of MVK. 'Attending an event is much more than a ticket. It's an opportunity to reward kids for hard work, strengthen relationships and enhance self-esteem. We are so thankful for hometown companies like Fifth Third who are dedicated to making a difference.'
