Foncière Euris and Rallye announce the signature of an agreement
for the sale of the Riviera shopping centre in Gdynia (Poland)
Foncière Euris and Rallye finalised on the 15th of July, 2015 an agreement for the sale of the shopping centre "Riviera", located in Gdynia (Poland). The closing of the transaction is scheduled to occur on August 31st, 2015.
The transaction will be concluded for a value of the asset at closing of 291 M€, to be potentially increased to a maximum amount of 300 M€ over three years through earn-outs on performance, which represents a capitalization rate of the stabilized NOI of 5.40%.
Mayland, a 100% subsidiary of Casino and the developer of Riviera, will remain in charge of the property management of the centre.
Riviera is a leading shopping centre located in the dynamic Tricity region in Nothern Poland, comprising the city of Gdynia, Gdansk and Sopot. The centre, which opened to the public in October 2013, houses 231 units on 70,470 sqm GLA of retail and entertainment area.
The centre is anchored by an Auchan hypermarket, a multiplex cinema (Helios) and proposes the most extensive fashion offer in Northern Poland with retailers such as Van Graaf, Inditex group, LPP group, C&A, H&M and many others.
It has been awarded with an "Excellent" BREEAM in-use certificate for its sustainable operation and it received CEE Retail Awards 2013 for "Overall Project of the Year".
