Berlin, 02.07.2019 - Mailing letters in hard copy is a complex process: First printing, folding and enveloping the document. Then the envelope needs to be franked correctly, and the letter handed over to the postal service provider. Furthermore, companies always need to keep a supply of stamps and envelopes on hand. With the new online letter mailing portal IAB transACTmail, these are all things of the past. The business process outsourcing service provider takes the time-consuming letter mailing process off the hands of small and medium-sized enterprises, allowing them to concentrate on their core business.

Top security standards for letter mailing
To use the service, the companies simply upload correspondence such as invoices and advertising letters to the IAB transACTmail web portal, and the service provider takes care of the rest. The specialist guarantees secure digital communication and the protection of confidential information with the highest security standards, and checks the uploaded files to ensure they comply with postal requirements, such as correct address structure. The solution also provides an overview of the orders issued. If desired, the customer also has the option of correcting the files, or of blocking the relevant documents from being sent, if required.

No postage increases thanks to the new online letter mailing portal
With the new online letter mailing portal IAB transACTmail, companies also save not only time, but money. This is because the solution will be starting with a postage blocker, just in time for the postage increase of Deutsche Post on 1 July 2019. 'Based on the old postage price of 70 cents, the customer gets their documents printed in top colour quality, packaged in neutral envelopes, and sent postage-paid with Deutsche Post - and the minimum unit number for a mailing is one,' says Michael Steinberg, MD of FP IAB Internet Access GmbH. Furthermore, IAB provides the materials and the printing. Companies can thus send business mail to their customers securely and cost-effectively, and benefit in the process from the secure processing of their documents based on the many years of experience of the communications specialist.
