Berlin, 06.03.2019 - The Internet of Things (IoT), the intelligent networking of all technical devices, offers enormous potential for companies to use their data to achieve greater efficiency, economy, customer satisfaction, or new business models. However, many lack the expertise and resources needed to make profitable use of the capabilities. FP, expert in the secure mailing business and secure digital communication processes, and the IoT start-up Juconn, will jointly be inviting guests to the second edition of the IoT Convention in order to support companies from all branches of industry in the digital transformation.

'Intelligent networking - practical implementation'

After the successful premiere last year, the 2019 event will be held at two locations: on 19 March in Berlin and on 26 March in Stuttgart. From corporations to SMEs and even small businesses, everyone with an interest is warmly invited. Under the motto 'Intelligent networking - practical implementation', FP and Juconn will explain how companies can successfully take control of the digital transformation. 'The Internet of Things offers companies countless options for making processes more efficient and for working more economically. At the IoT Convention, we provide companies with assistance in implementing throughout their value chain, facilitating their journey to transformation,' says Sven Meise, Chief Digital Officer at FP.

Experts answer questions on IoT and Industry 4.0

In a series of lectures, the participants will learn useful information about the right digitalisation strategy, efficient application options for IoT platforms and public funding. In addition, the IoT experts FP and Juconn will be presenting examples of practice-oriented implementation. As in the first edition of the IoT Convention, Cisco and Vodafone will once again both be present to answer participants' questions about the IoT and Industry 4.0, and explaining how companies can get access to the technology.

'For technological reasons, most companies do not manage to record the millions of data points generated daily and make it possible for the company to utilise them. We demonstrate how they can use this 'dead data' for strategic purposes,' states Sven Dunker, CEO of Juconn Solutions GmbH.

Press representatives are also warmly invited to participate in the IoT Convention. Entry is free of charge for all participants. Further information and registration for the event can be found at www.iotconvention.de.
