In a scheme aimed at luring more millennial passengers, Indonesian national carrier is bringing music concerts on domestic flights.
The airline "Garuda" said that Singer Abdul performed the first concert onboard during a flight from Jakarta to Denpasar, the German News Agency reported.
Askara Danadiputra, Garuda's CEO, said: "With these live concerts, we hope we can offer a new and exciting experience for our passengers."
"The airline aimed at bringing young Indonesian talents on its aircraft as part of the 'G- Acoustic' initiative," he added.
Garuda recorded losses of $216 million in 2017 and $114 million between January and September 2018. The company's financial situation deteriorated due to an unsuccessful ambitious expansion campaign in recent years.
