Gazprom : Ukraine's energy minister sees some risk for Russian gas supplies beyond January

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Ukraine's Energy Minister Oleksiy Orzhel said that Thursday talks with Russia on gas transit to Europe were "constructive" but that Kiev would prepare to ensure supplies should the sides

fail to agree on terms of cooperation beyond the current contract.

Orzhel said there was still some risk that Russian gas flows would be interrupted after the current contract expires in January.
