GBST, provider of wealth administration software through its GBST Composer® platform, has been named New Supplier of the Year at the Vitality Supplier & Partner Awards 2018 for the instant and positive impact it has made to Vitality's business.

The awards acknowledge the important contribution Vitality's suppliers make to its ongoing success. GBST was recognised for its role in the launch of investment and retirement proposition VitalityInvest in June this year. VitalityInvest, which includes a stocks and shares ISA, a junior ISA and a retirement plan, uses GBST's customisable digital platform Catalyst and is supported by the company's award-winning Composer® back office technology.

Catalyst enables Vitality to integrate data from its existing health and protection systems and the Composer® platform to provide advisers with consolidated client investment and policy view. A single sign-in process across Vitality's investment, life and health propositions provides advisers and investors with a relevant, intuitive and adaptive customer experience. Smart search capabilities enable advisers to service their customers across all three propositions from one place. A high level of automation provides 'straight through processing' to improve speed of response, lower cost to serve, and achieve quality customer outcomes.

David Simpson, Head of EMEA at GBST, commented: 'Since day one, our partnership with Vitality has challenged us to push innovation and think differently. We are proud of the seamless technology solution we have created for VitalityInvest and the part we continue to play in its success. Winning the Vitality New Supplier Award is testimony to the dedication of the teams within both GBST and Vitality to work together to deliver a truly innovative, engaging proposition for customers and advisers.'
