Granit AD Skopje is a Macedonia-based company active in the construction and engineering sector. It is engaged in the design, research, construction and supervision of civil engineering structures, such as highways, roads, streets, tunnels, bridges, railways, airport runways; the construction of residential, commercial and industrial buildings; the hydro construction, including earth and concrete dams, irrigation systems, water supply, drainage and sewerage systems; the production of carved timber, concrete products for construction purposes, bricks, pan tiles, marble and marble tiles and products for hardened clay for construction, and the electric installation, and the production of finished concrete mixture. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated 12 subsidiaries, based in Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Kosovo, Ukraine, Poland and Germany.
