GEA : German engineering industry lowers 2020 production outlook

German engineering industry association VDMA on Thursday lowered its production forecast for this year, pointing to factors including the coronavirus pandemic.

Production is now expected to decline by 5% in real terms year-on-year, VDMA said. It previously forecast output would likely contract by 2%.
