QUERY REGARDING TRADING ACTIVITY

The Directors refer to the query by SGX dated 11 March 2014.
Question 1: Are you (the issuer) aware of any information not previously announced concerning you, your subsidiaries or associated companies which, if known, might explain the trading? Such information may include events that are potentially material and price-sensitive, such as discussions and negotiations that may lead to joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions or purchase or sale of a significant asset. You may refer to paragraph 9 in Appendix 7A of the Catalist Rules for further examples.

Answer : The Company has just been informed by its substantial shareholder, Miyoshi Precision Limited ("Miyoshi"), that it had sold it's entire shareholding of 69,911,600 shares in the Company today. This was approved by Miyoshi's shareholders at an EGM held on 7
March 2014 (Notice of EGM dated 20 February and results of EGM approving the sale of shares in Giken Sakata (S) Limited announced on 7 March 2014)
Miyoshi will be submitting the relevant information to the Company within the next 24 hours. We will then make the necessary announcement via SGXnet.
We also understand that Miyoshi will also be making an announcement on the share sale within the next 24 hours.
Question 2: Are you aware of any other possible explanation for the trading? Such information may include public circulation of information by rumours or reports.
Answer : Aside from the answer to Question 1 above, the Company has announced on 11
March 2014, its receipt of a Listing and Quotation Notice relating to a proposed share subscription of 52 million new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company.
Save for the above, the Company is not aware of any other possible explanation for the trading.
Question 3: Can you confirm your compliance with the listing rules and, in particular, Catalist
Rule 703?.
Answer : The Company confirms it is in compliance with the listing rules, in particular with
Catalist Rule 703.

The Company commenced its operations in Singapore in 1979 and was listed on SESDAQ in
1993. It transited to Catalist on 4th January 2010.
The Company and its subsidiaries (the "Group") are principally involved in the manufacturing and assembly of finished products and semi-finished components for the electronics industry, including medical equipment, audio-video products, office equipment, home appliances,
computer peripherals, sensory devices and factory automation devices. In addition to the assembly operations, the Group also manufactures precision microshafts, turned parts, plastic injection molded parts and multi-layered printed circuit board assemblies using surface-mounting technology.
In addition to the head office in Singapore, the Company also has operations in Indonesia and
China.
