The sixth edition of this leading international event.

Founded over 20 years ago in Montreal, the Mondial de la Bière (World Beer Festival) will be celebrating its sixth edition in Rio de Janeiro this year. Organised by Fagga | GL events Exhibitions, the event is the largest of its kind in South America. It will take place from 5 to 9 September and bring together nearly 150 manufacturers, distributors and importers of craft beers.

The Mondial de la Bière is a unique event dedicated to beer tasting. It gives local and international visitors the opportunity to taste several high-quality beers and highlights the importance of responsible consumption.

The best beers will be judged during the MBeer Contest Brazil, a tasting competition involving national and international judges and members of the public. This year, the jury will include two high-profile judges: Jeannine Marois, president of the Mondial de la Bière and Serge Noël, a renowned beer waiter.

Throughout the 5-day festival, visitors will also be able to enjoy a series of concerts catering for every taste. Some 30 artists - including headline bands and lesser known groups - will be performing on two stages next to the food trucks area. In addition, some thirty trucks offering a variety of culinary specialities will be present at this year's festival, which genuinely aims to awaken all the senses.
