The world's leading trade fair for the fashion industry launches a series of new initiatives

From 19 to 21 September, the latest Première Vision Paris trade fair will be previewing trends for future fashion collections with an even wider range of products proposed by more than 2,000 exhibitors, and addressing strategic issues and challenges for the future of the sector.

Visitors will be able to discover a wide range of solutions for sourcing their manufacturing requirements in 3 specific areas:

- The LEATHER MANUFACTURING area, devoted to expertise for shoe-making, leather goods and leather-clothing production.
- The SOURCING CONNECTION area, devoted garment-making solutions in the Asia Pacific region,
- The FOCUS COUNTRY area, promoting Portugal's expertise in the field of garment manufacturing through a forum and exhibition of products highlighting the benefits and advantages of the Made In Portugal label.

Over recent seasons, sport has been an increasing source of inspired for fashion, so it was important for Première Vision Paris to highlight the sports and technical clothing offer. Consequently, a Sport & Tech area - with exhibitors specialised in sports and technical materials, a forum, conferences and two exhibitor master classes - will be set up to support ready-to-wear brands looking for innovative solutions to develop high-performance fashion items.

The surface area of the Smart Square area, a space devoted to responsible design and production, will be doubled so as to provide a greater spectrum of eco-responsible products, innovations and services. The main objective of this space is to highlight the exhibitors' socially-responsible initiatives and promote a new generation of values combining creativity, innovation and sustainability.

Based on a design studio, the DESIGNS FACTORY is a completely new space hosted by Première Vision Designs. Visitors will be plunged into an artist's studio and will have the opportunity to discover the latest textile designs for the autumn-winter 2019/2020 season. This space will also have an area for meetings and co-working in order to facilitate partnerships between experts in the sector.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the PV Awards, an exceptional ceremony will be organised to highlight the creative work of Première Vision Paris' exhibitors from the leather and fabric sectors. The talented designer Olivier Theyskens will be presiding over a prestigious jury, in charge of selecting the award-winning products.

The Marketplace Première Vision is a genuine revolution for the entire fashion industry. This original B-to-B e-commerce platform devoted to the fashion sector will be inaugurated and put online during the show. Reserved for exhibitors at Première Vision's trade fairs and aimed at buyers from all over the world, this Marketplace will host exhibitors' catalogues and give them the opportunity to market their products online.

Digitalisation, eco-responsibility, creative innovations, inspirations... Première Vision Paris, the world's leading trade fair for the fashion sector, will launch all these new initiatives at its next show to support the developments and changes in the sector, which is seeking ever-more diversified solutions.
