Godewind Immobilien AG successfully secures financing for the City Gate office building in Frankfurt

  • Interest-only loan agreement for a total of EUR 56 m signed
  • 7 year term; 1.12 percent interest rate
  • Godewind's portfolio now fully closed

Frankfurt am Main, 30 August 2019 - Godewind Immobilien AG (ISIN: DE000A2G8XX3, ticker symbol: GWD, Godewind), a company specialising in German office properties, has signed another credit agreement for a total of EUR 56 million for the last asset in its office property portfolio not yet leveraged. The loan is for the financing of the City Gate property in Frankfurt, which was purchased for the net amount of EUR 85 million.

All of Godewind's current properties now financed and closed
With the closing of the City Gate, all financing for the current Godewind portfolio comprising 10 office complexes has now been completed and all properties have been transferred to Godewind.

The company will further optimise its existing assets and expand its portfolio of commercial properties organically. With a vacancy rate of currently around 13 percent, which can still be let, the portfolio continues to show significant organic value growth potential.
