Seven-year-old Rex Johnson delivers this year's cutest performance in our newest GoPro Award-winning video, Rex the BMX Kid. The second grader from Abbotsford, British Columbia, jumped on his BMX bike with his best friend, Jack, for what his parents thought was just another lap around the local bike park. When they watched the video after, they discovered that Rex did 'live reporting' of his own runs with the unfiltered, unself-conscious commentary that only a kid-at-play can provide.

When Rex's mom asked why he commentated his jump line, Rex said, 'I wanted everyone to know what it feels like to hit the jumps.' No fake news here, people. It's just that simple.

So, while you might not know what a BMX step up, step down, kicker, berm or table are, with Rex in the seat-and on the mic-you want to keep watching anyway.
