A modern, three-part office building complex, which will include the corporate headquarters as well as extensive design and ergonomics laboratories, is being built on the spacious site. Consequently, the development activities of the two divisions - Automotive and Commercial Vehicles - as well as the corporate headquarters will all be under a single roof at a shared site for the first time. This will provide the physical basis for allowing the various departments to work together to optimum effect, for unleashing synergistic effects and for improving the efficiency of the development processes. Construction is proceeding according to plan. The move to the first construction phase will take place at the end of 2019. Looking forward, the four-storey office and administration building will offer around 700 employees a modern and contemporary working environment fitted with the latest technology on a floor area measuring nearly 22,000 square meters. Grammer is investing a total of more than EUR 40 million in two construction phases of what is the largest construction project in its history.
