GTT Training receives the 'LNG World Shipping Safety Award 2019'

Paris - December 12nd 2019. GTT Training1 was awarded the 'LNG World Shipping Safety Award for 2019'. Each year, LNG World Shipping rewards one LNG player for its significant impact on promoting safety in the LNG industry. The awards ceremony took place in London, on November 28th 2019, during the LNG Ship/Shore Interface Conference.

GTT Training was mainly rewarded for taking into account the "human factor" in maintaining safety of the industry.

Neil Macnab, Training Manager, declared: "We have been very busy over the last year providing many different LNG training courses for the industry, working with companies by training with the simulators, as well as working with new companies and those not familiar with the LNG industry or the IGF code2 adopted by IMO's Maritime Safety Committee (MSC)."
