GTT receives an order from Samsung Heavy Industries for the tank design of

two new LNG Carriers

Paris - December 5th 2019. GTT has received an order from the Korean shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the tank design of two LNG Carriers (LNGCi) on behalf of the Malaysian ship-owner MISC.

Each vessel will offer a capacity of 174,000 m3. GTT will design the tanks of the vessels, which will be fitted with the Mark III Flex+membrane containment system. The delivery of the vessels is planned during the first quarter of 2023.
