As part of its digital transformation exercise, Harbin Bank has updated its core banking system with the deployment of the TCS BaNCS a core banking software suite developed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for retail banks.
Completed in August 2018, the TCS BaNCS solution is to be used for deposits, cards, channels, and payments, across Harbin Banks 593 branches in China, helping the bank consolidate information in real time across service channels and business lines.
In a press release issued by TCS, the solution is said to help the bank consolidate information in real time across service channels and business lines, enabling omni-channel experience for its customers. Leveraging the power of data, Harbin Bank is also able to offer personalized services and launch innovative products. With faster processing times, integrated credit limits, and daily revaluation capabilities, the new solution enables a more data driven decision-making and enhances the banks risk management capabilities. The API-based architecture will allow it to connect to larger and new ecosystems seamlessly.
