Dubai, UAE - October 22, 2018 - Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) today announced it has extended its agreement with Dubai Police General Headquarters to help develop its applications and technology infrastructure, as well as enhance its position as the leading global police force in both the smart services and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology fields.

Following His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's initiative to transform Dubai into the smartest city in the world by 2021, HPE and Dubai Police have signed an agreement to build an Artificial Intelligence program to optimize their operations and reduce time taken to respond to calls.

In addition, HPE will deliver educational training courses to staff members and IT individuals. In return, Dubai Police will involve HPE in planning their strategic and future AI initiatives and projects.

'We are the market leader when it comes to high performance systems optimized for AI use cases and are delighted to continue working alongside the most innovative police force in the world,' said Fabio Fontana, Managing Director for Middle East at HPE.
