New appointments at Hiscox London Market

London, UK (18th November, 2011): Specialist insurer Hiscox has appointed Guillaume Bonnissent as Line Underwriter for Personal Accident and Rob Ashton as Line Underwriter for Special Risks and Personal Accident XL Reinsurance.

Following the departure of David Bruce, Hiscox has refocused the Personal Accident team with Guillaume Bonnissent taking on the role of Line Underwriter Personal Accident Insurance for Hiscox London Market. Having joined Hiscox in 2002 Guillaume has a strong track record for underwriting speciality risks; previous roles at Hiscox include Line Underwriter for Kidnap and Ransom and most recently Non-marine Treaty Underwriter. The Personal Accident account will now become part of the Hiscox Global Response family of products, simplifying the speciality offering for brokers.

Robert Ashton brings a strong combination of reinsurance and personal accident experience to the role of Line Underwriter for Special Risks and Personal Accident XL reinsurance and remains part of the reinsurance team. Robert has been with Hiscox since 2003 and prior to that worked at AIG writing various classes of accident and health businesses.

Guillaume and Robert have worked closely across the Personal Accident and Kidnap and Ransom accounts and will continue to collaborate closely for the benefit of brokers and clients.
