cut in the US despite the soft close of the Dow on Friday. The Hang Seng Index opened up
134 points to 27,252. The H-share index rose 22 points to 10,442.
Blue chips fell across the board. HSBC (00005) edged up 0.8% to HK$64.3. HKEX (00388)
put on 1.2% to HK$263.4. Tencent (00700) nudged up 0.6% to HK$331.8. China Mobile (00941)
fell 0.4% to HK$68. AIA (01299) added 1.4% to HK$74.85. (KL)
