IC Immobilien Gruppe has let around 165 square metres of retail space to Apollo-Optik in the Humboldt-Center the company manages at Hochwaldstraße 20 in Zittau. In addition to property and asset management, IC Immobilien Gruppe also provides letting, project management and fund management services to the property's owner, BBV Immobilien-Fonds Nr. 8 GmbH & Co. KG.

'Apollo-Optik not only fills a gap in the Humboldt-Center's retail offer, our new tenant also complements the existing tenant mix and benefits the shopping centre as a whole', said Heiko Dietel, Managing DIrector of IC Asset Management GmbH and IC Immobilien Service GmbH.

The 18,850-sqm shopping centre's other major tenants include REWE, the nationwide supermarket chain, toom Baumarkt, the home improvements retailer, Ernsting's family, which sells children's clothes and toys, and Deichmann, the shoe retailer. The shopping centre was built in 1993 and extensively refurbished by IC Immobilien Gruppe in 2016. Its location in the triangle between Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic means that it profits from frequent crossborder traffic.
