Fenergo, a Dublin-based provider of digital onboarding and authentication software for the banking industry, has closed an investment round from ABN Amro Ventures and DXC Technology. 

The funding will be used for further product enhancement and/or the acquisition of new companies or capabilities that strategically improve Fenergo’s business. 

ABN Amro Ventures is a $108 million investment fund from the Amsterdam-based bank that makes strategic investments in companies that help the bank’s digital transformation. 

"This investment will further contribute to ABN Amro’s strategic priority to build a future proof bank and fight financial crime," Hugo Bongers, director at ABN Amro said in a release from Fenergo. "We are impressed with the management team and solution Fenergo offers."

Terms of the Fenergo investment were not disclosed. DXC Technology previously made an investment in Fenergo.
